Each year, WELS schools throughout the region join together under one theme. The school year theme is then worked into the daily and weekly happenings throughout the school year. The theme for the 2018-2019 school year is “Walk with God – Talk with God.”
Our celebration of Christmas begins with Christmas @ GLS on December 21. A bowling party, special lunches, and classroom gift exchanges are all on the schedule. With joy we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus!
The 5th and 6th graders joined up to represent Gethsemane in the B Division at NELHS on 10/28. Special thanks to Coach B and Coach P for coaching the team this year! GO FALCONS!
We are celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation on OCT 29. Students will be singing for our special service (held at Bennington High School).
Our annual Book Fair is now open! Sales will be available after school MON-FRI and again on SUN. Your purchases help benefit our classroom libraries for our lists of 25 new books. Contact our teachers with any questions.
We are officially “Back To School.” As a gentle reminder, please remember to get all required paperwork turned into the school office. Questions can be directed to your child’s teacher or to me anytime. Please join the school teachers and me in praying for God’s blessings on our school year ahead!
Thank you to all the parents assisting with transportation and to NELHS for hosting the Solar Eclipse Bash! It was a great experience! A science fair of sorts, hosted by our creator God.
“Backpack-2-School Night” on 8/14 was a fun time! Great to see so many students and parents…..and the kickball was not too bad either. Thank you to all who pitched in to make this event a success again this year!
